  Wow. Only because we had no other option. Very friendly staff, but this place is a dump. Thank goodness we had one of the newly renovated rooms, but the microwaves bolted to the walls in the hallway should have been an indication of what is up. Halls had mouldy musty smell and were very dark (which might be a good thing). No locks on the door other than the actual key lock was available, so I used a chair.
  However, it was quiet and the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot.
  All you really need, but for the $80+ I paid, I would have expected much more.

  Update:
  After I posted this review I was contacted by the Hotel. (They had cross referenced my name with a hotel stay. Wow) In fairness, I did stay with them back in the summer of 2016 (more than 6 months ago) They wanted to let me know there were no more microwaves bolted to the walls and the carpet is all new.
  I appreciate the update, however, this seemed argumentative.
  If you were really contacting me to show great customer service, why not offer me something as a gesture of good faith. 25% discount, half price, dinner voucher, something to say come on back and see our updates.
  Not that I would drive this far to do so, but I would have had respect for the offer.
  Instead, there was this awkward silence that ended with "no, thats it. We just wanted to let you know"
  My review is a little harsh but accurate for the time that I stayed. And I still gave them 3/5 stars.
